Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again Box Office: Kartik Aaryan and Ajay Devgn’s Epic Clash Reaches Sunday Showdown

The fierce box office battle between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again continues to captivate audiences, with both films neck-and-neck in their race for supremacy. As of Day 16, Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy is gaining ground, inching closer to overtaking Ajay Devgn’s action-packed Singham Again, creating a dramatic turn in this high-stakes rivalry.

Released on November 1, both films initially saw Singham Again dominate with a stronger opening weekend. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the action-packed film initially garnered more attention, but Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, led by Kartik Aaryan, has steadily narrowed the gap over the past two weeks. By the third Saturday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned approximately Rs 4.75 crore, surpassing Singham Again, which took in Rs 3.25 crore on the same day.

This surge has brought Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to a cumulative total of Rs 225.15 crore, just a notch below Singham Again’s Rs 226.5 crore. With Sunday’s final figures still to come in, Kartik Aaryan’s film may very well claim the top spot, marking a major shift in this high-profile box office faceoff.

Regional Performance and Diwali Boost

While Singham Again has shown strong performance in the Mumbai circuit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made impressive gains across other regions, which has allowed it to close the gap. The Diwali season has further fueled cinema attendance, benefiting both films and adding to the competition between the two.

Despite the rising competition, the entry of a new film, The Sabarmati Report, has had a modest impact, but it hasn’t significantly disrupted the ongoing dominance of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office.

2024 Box Office Race

This rivalry is just a part of a record-breaking year for Bollywood. Leading the 2024 charts is Stree 2, which has shattered records with Rs 800 crore worldwide, including Rs 598 crore from its Hindi release alone. Close behind is Kalki 2898 AD, a South Indian epic starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, which has collected Rs 293 crore from its Hindi version.

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 occupy the third and fourth spots, respectively, with Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter rounding out the top five with a Rs 212 crore haul.

As both films continue to perform strongly, all eyes will be on Sunday’s final box office numbers to determine who will emerge victorious in this intense clash of Bollywood titans.
