“Gujarat Triumph: Agarwal Vidya Vihar College Shines in the 2024 Ice Stock Winter National Championship”

The 2024 Ice Stock Winter National Championship, held from February 9 to 11 in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, witnessed an outstanding performance by the Gujarat team, with a remarkable presence of 15 players from Surat district. Agarwal Vidya Vihar English Medium College had every reason to be proud, as they not only snared an impressive haul of medals but also saw one of their own, Vishnu Kejriwal, excel in both the competition and sportsmanship.

In a testament to their dedication and hard work, the Gujarat team clinched a total of 54 medals, including 22 gold, 13 silver, and 19 bronze. This exceptional achievement speaks volumes about the talent and commitment of these athletes, and it’s a testament to the rigorous training and coaching they received.

One name that stood out in this remarkable display of sportsmanship was Vishnu Kejriwal. He was instrumental in securing a substantial portion of the medals for the Gujarat team. Kejriwal’s stellar performance earned him three medals, showcasing his exceptional skills and determination. Such recognition not only highlights his expertise in the sport but also underscores his commitment to maintaining fair play and sportsmanship in the competition.

 

Dr. Gautam Dua, the Principal of Agarwal Vidya Vihar English Medium College of Surat expressed his delight at the impressive performance of their students.
