is a welcome and caring voice in the realm of nutrition and mental health in a world full of fad diets and generalized health advice. Deshna, who holds a Master’s degree in Food and Dietetics and is a Certified Counselor, has forged a special route where food serves as a link to holistic health and science and soul.
Deshna’s journey started with a straightforward question: Can food do more than just nourish us? She is a proud Surati and a true foodie at heart. Through individualized nutrition and emotional well-being, that question ignited a lifelong curiosity that over time developed into a deeply ingrained mission: to enable people to live healthier, more mindful lives.

With this goal in mind, Deshna and fellow nutritionist Shreya Tank co-founded Swasthya.Core. What began as a common goal has evolved into a thriving wellness community where understanding the body, mind, and emotions as a single, interconnected whole is what defines health rather than limitations.
The emphasis at Swasthya.Core extends well beyond diet plans and calorie counting. The method, which is based on evidence-based nutrition and combined with lifestyle coaching and emotional counseling, is gentle but transformative. It’s where traditional knowledge and contemporary science collide, and where customers are given more than just treatment—they are given genuine attention.
According to Deshna, “health is a way of living with balance, awareness, and self-compassion—it’s not a one-size-fits-all plan.” Every facet of her work, from client consultations to the insightful content posted on Swasthya.Core’s social media channels, embodies this philosophy.
In Deshna’s story, gratitude is a major theme. She acknowledges that she received wise, kind, and supportive guidance from her mentors, Dr. Manisha Vyas and registered dietitians Amita Tambekar and Meena Hardasani, during her journey.
Today, Deshna and her team are reaching hundreds of people with simple, enlightening, and culturally relevant content about mental health, mindful living, and nutrition through Swasthya.Core’s expanding presence on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
However, this is more than just a service or brand at its core. Deshna views it as a community—a place where individuals gather to grow, learn, unlearn, and heal via self-awareness and food. Because, as she puts it, “True Swasthya lies at the core of who we are.”
