Recipe: Winter Protein Scramble:
2 eggs
Spinach leaves 1 cup
Bell peppers 1/2 cup
Tomato 1/2 cup
Ghee 1 tsp
Green garlic or coriander leaves 2 tbsp.
White sesame seeds 1 tsp
Method:
1. Roast sesame seeds in ghee
2. Add all veggies and stir for 1-2 minutes
3. Add eggs and switch off the flame, and mix well to have soft textured nutrient rice scrambled eggs.
Garnish with green garlic or coriander leaves
Eat this with 1 raagi flour’s roti on the side as lunch or as dinner.
Rich in protein, calcium and fibre.
Low in fat.
Kitchen tip:
Stomach flu / food poisoning and upset stomach is in full swing these days.
To prevent this, always soak all the seasonal salad veggies like carrots, cucumber, beetroot, and spinach in lukewarm water for about 5-10 minutes before chopping and eating them.
