In a breathtaking and spiritually uplifting event, Surat witnessed something truly historic on 12th July 2025 — India’s first-ever grand “Shree Krishna Aagman”, organized by the Malik Group. This was not just a local celebration. It was a cultural and devotional spectacle that stirred the hearts of thousands and echoed the divine presence of Shree Krishna across the city.
For the past 14 years, the Malik Group has been celebrating Janmashtami with unmatched dedication, but this year’s event was truly one for the ages. With a devotion-fueled vision and a heart full of bhakti, the group brought to life a divine procession that will be remembered for years to come.
The highlight of the event was the majestic 30-foot tall idol of Shree Krishna, a sight that left devotees in awe. The sheer scale and divine aura of the idol brought goosebumps to the crowd. Accompanying the idol was the electrifying energy of Nashik Dhols and a dynamic DJ setup, creating a perfect blend of tradition and celebration.
What made this aagman even more memorable was the overwhelming response of the people — more than 10,000 devotees gathered to welcome their beloved Kanhaiya. The streets of Surat were filled with chants of “Nand Gher Anand Bhayo” and the vibrant energy of Krishna bhakts dancing in devotion.
