Abhishek Buddhadev, a respected public figure from Surat and the founder of the Moksha Charitable Trust and Youth Delegate of the European Union, has garnered recognition for his representation of Surat, Gujarat, and his commitment to raising awareness about mental health. His active participation in the Mini Summit contributed to discussions on various issues related to India-Europe joint development and progress in the youth parliament of Europe. These discussions covered Operation Ganga, shedding light on the plight of Indian citizens trapped on the Ukraine-Russia border. Additionally, there was a focus on enhancing textile production between India and Europe, aiming to accelerate clothing production. The importance of addressing the mental well-being of youth in both regions was emphasized, with a particular emphasis on promoting International Yoga Day to support Abhishek Buddhadev’s mission of creating a depression-free India and global awareness. The unanimous support shown by attending members reflected the significance of these discussions.

The Summit held on July 05, 2023, brought together prominent current leaders and Europe India Leaders in a live event that focused on the theme of “Will a dedicated Indian Embassy for EU help to increase India’s engagement with the EU?” This significant occasion also commemorated the 60th anniversary of Mr. Walter Hallstein’s visit to India, which marked the first official visit by a senior European Commission official in 1963.

During the event, nine leaders from India and the European Union (EU) shared their valuable insights, aiming to explore the potential benefits of establishing a dedicated Indian Embassy for the EU. The discussions revolved around fostering increased engagement between India and the EU and received positive feedback. A white paper on the theme is planned for release in the coming months, offering further insights and analysis.

The Mini Summit served as a platform for business leaders to gain insights, learn from authentic experiences, and connect with experts from the UK, India, and the EU. It fostered the sharing of best practices, exploration of new business opportunities, and enhanced collaborations. Attendees had the chance to expand their networks, gain strategic insights, and access resources to grow their businesses across continents.
