Hailing from a small village Dhudala in Gujarat, the Dholakia has had an extraordinarily humble upbringing. The family requires no introduction as their company has made a name for itself worldwide. Mr Dholakia considers his most significant achievement to be the fact that people respect and revere him for who he is and not for what he has. In their lifetime, they have been showered with tons of awards and accolades and are regularly invited to speak at events. However, they never let the money and fame lead them astray.
Every person they meet is touched by their humble and down-to-earth nature. These same values are instilled in the whole family. They imbibe in themselves what they preach to the world. The whole family believes that despite being born with money and luxury, their kids should never forget their roots and know what living a simple life is like.
The fact that they touch the lives of everyone they meet in some way is a rare accomplishment indeed. They recently celebrated their granddaughter’s birthday at Kukdi Chopdi and positively impacted the whole team. Despite there being a power outage for 45 minutes, the team handled things to the best of their capabilities and later apologised for the inconvenience but true to their magnanimous nature, the family replied by saying it could have happened to anyone and the team shouldn’t feel too bad about it. They wouldn’t have been able to do anything either had the tables been turned.
The kindness they display and their genuine dedication towards their work are as rare as any diamond.
