Truth be told, the year 2021 was better than last year for the film industry. Halted film shoots started opening up, and so did the theatres. This year, we were gifted with many films that creat ed a niche in our hearts. While biopics like 83 made us shed happy tears, war films like Shershaah surprised us with great content, performances and songs.
83
Led by Ranveer Singh and helmed by Kabir Khan, 83 is undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2021. The film is based on India’s historic World Cup win in 1983, The film received an IMDb rating of 7.4.
SARDAR UDHAM
Vicky Kaushal yet again proved his acting prowess with Sardar Udham. The film is inspired by true events and takes the audience through the brave journey of an Indian freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film creates a lasting impression in the minds of the viewers.
SHERSHAAH
Sidharth Malhotra surprised us with his acting and screen presence in Shershaah. The film is based on the life of Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra. Kiara Advani played Dimple. Capt. Vikram’s fiancée in the film and made us fall in love with her all over again. Shershaah is so good that it will surely trigger your inner desh bhakkt.
BELL BOTTOM
One of the first few films to release in the theatres after months of the shutdown, Akshay and Vaani Kapoor were effortless, needless to say. If you need thrill, excite ment and Akshay Kumar in one package, Bell Bottom is the one to watch out for.
