“The first and the foremost thing is to use waterproof products to make sure your makeup stays in place, says Binita Desai. Dip your face in ice water right before you start your makeup application. Stick to the classics in summer. Wear a soft smokeyeye,add a pair of lashes for the volume and a little bronzer on the high points of your face where the sun hits. Don’t overdo it.”
Use a mattifying primer right after moisturizer and before foundation. Bring the foundation down your neck to ensure an even tone for your face and neck. Be prepared to retouch your summer makeup as it isn’t going to last forever. Do not forget to blot away any excess oils with tissue in a pinch.
