Finding Balance between Mind and Media

The Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is dedicated to fostering positive change and leadership among young individuals who exhibit exceptional potential, accomplishments, and a strong drive to make a positive impact on their communities.

Mental health is an issue of global significance, and the well-being of youth is often overlooked. In an effort to address this critical concern and promote awareness, the Surat Hub in India, 94.3 MYFM Radio channel and the Skopje Hub in North Macedonia, Europe, are collaborating to host an Instagram Live session on September 8, 2023, at 6:00 PM (UTC+5:30).

This Instagram Live session aims to shed light on the vital issue of mental health, especially among young individuals who often face neglect in this area. It is crucial to address this concern and raise awareness about it in today’s fast-paced digital age.

This whole idea of doing cross hub events came when Harshit Hemnani from Surat Global Shapers got connected with Violeta Rendevska from Skopje Globals Shapers. Also engaging with shapers from different countries can promote cultural exchange, understanding, and tolerance. This can lead to a more cosmopolitan mindset among citizens and help foster a more inclusive community.
